low rating is not for the book itself but because of poor shipping. be cautious when ordering books with other items. this was packaged along with dumbbells i ordered at the same time with zero protection for it not even a plastic sleeve everything was just thrown in the box & my book was damaged upon arrival.

Best fantasy series I've read yet

I just finished reading this series about a week ago after starting it back in December 2024. I’ve got to say this is the best series I have read so far. I should mention I’ve read Maas’ ACOTAR series prior to this (also plan on reading the crescent city series eventually). BUT this has to be my favorite yet. As most final books in a series tend to have slow starts, Kingdom of Ash has kept me hooked the entire time. Although the first several chapters were a tad bit slow considering the part of the story it was at since the end of Empire of Storms (if you’ve read it then you know). I do think however that this book could’ve been split into two separate books to give us more of each of the characters that we love (or hate) as it did seem a bit rushed. It was honestly such a relief finally getting to this book since I took forever to finish Tower of dawn (my least favorite book of the series, yet still important to read). Let’s put it this way….It took me over a span of 2.5 weeks to finish TOD and 5 days to finish KOA. Anyways, overall a good book and a great series altogether. KOA brings all the main characters stories together to give us an ending most of us have been waiting for. I’m sure not everyone will be or is happy with the ending, but I think it’s a worthy enough ending imo. Oh and on the plus side, the target 20% off sticker on the front page came off perfectly 👌🏽 with no left over adhesive. One extra star for that!
