Matelasse Christmas Quilt Set Red - Threshold™

The design is very cute. The quilt is a little thin but it’s comfortable nonetheless!

Unfortunately, this is not what is typically considered "Matelasse". It was instead made from a thin, cheap muslin material. We returned it.

Absolutely in love with it

Very thin light weight, loose stitching. Poor craftsmanship. Bought as a gift, but will be returning.

The quality is so good for the price. Very happy with this quilt.

This is such a cheap “quilt”. You can see right through it. I expected more from target

I’m so sad about this purchase. I washed it before I decorated my bed. It literally shrank to a twin long/full size. The pillow shams shrank to very narrow. Can barely put my pillows in☹️

Thin and more like a blanket, it’s stretchy and doesn’t fit properly

Returning this quilt asap. Poor quality, thin material & stretches out. Disappointed.

Adorable Christmas quilt. They are thin but I use it on top of a down blanket so it is perfect!

It is a nice quilt but not the best material.

I read the reviews and was warned it was thin. I was mostly concerned with if the red would bleed in the wash (it doesn't) so I thought ok cool, I live in southern Texas thin is ok for holiday stuff in winter. Ya'll it's so thin. Not just the quilt itself but the fabric. It feels really flimsy. I don't expect it to last more than a few seasons of 1 to 2 month use a year. Maybe. I got it on sale and like the pattern enough to keep it, but if I had felt it in store I probably would have passed. It's also definitely more pink than red if that matters to you.

It's very cute, but the material is very thin & stretchy. It's comparable to gauze. I returned it before I even put it on the bed because I knew this wouldnt keep me warm at all.

This bedding is almost comical in quality, I bought it “on sale” for 40$ as a king set and even that feels steep considering what I just opened up! It’s like the warmth of a muslin swaddle blanket. So that is frustrating in itself because I bought it for a layer of warmth, but even more annoying it’s got hundreds of loose threads and pulls just out of the shipping box. The photo is of the THICKEST spot at the seam, so the blanket itself is half as thick. Truly the warmth of a sheet.

Color isn’t bright and it feels rough to me

So, I bought last year's Threshold Christmas quilt...absolutely beautiful. I bought this one to layer with last year's. This year's candy swirl Threshold quilt is a different material. It's actually like elastic stretchy, and lays out terrible. I love the look of it, but it takes a lot of time to get it to lay somewhat straight looking on the bed. I love the color and the look, but the quality seems off to me.

Let me help you rethink this blanket. It is not a quilt, but rather a gorgeous cotton gauze blanket. Buy it for the end of your bed or your couch to spruce it up for the holiday! It’s so snuggly and washed beautifully.
