The Kids’ Winter Apex Boot is the latest Muck Boot built to keep little ones warm, dry, protected through winter’s toughest conditions. This 10inch waterproof pull-on boot features a drawstring cord to keep warmth in and cold (and snow) out. This kids’ winter boot also sports 2mm of Neoprene and a warm fleece lining to keep tiny toes comfortable as the temperatures drop. The lugged rubber cup outsole is designed for all terrain traction, allowing kids to explore nature’s classroom no matter what lies ahead.

Terrible
Although the boot seems high quality it is a nightmare to put in and take out. It takes 2 people, several minutes and hurting my child’s foot just to get one foot in. She absolutely hates the boots and it was a waste of money. We had no choice to use because we had a snowstorm and that’s all we had but I had to find another pair. Definitely a design flaw.

Ankle sizing is sub par
The boot seems warm and sturdy, but the big drawback for me is that the ankle area is small / tight making it hard for toddler to put on themselves. I even need to assist with shoving their heel down into the boot to get it on. But it fits their foot size fine. Bummed out!

Too tight
I ordered these a size too big for my daughter and the ankle is so tight she cannot get them on and off even with assistance. Others I know who purchased the same have had the same issue.

Not warm at all!
So disappointed, it snowed and my 6 year old has these as her winter boots and within 20 minutes she was complaining her feet were cold. It’s BARELY freezing out yet! We live in Minnesota so it will be way colder and now we will have to buy her new boots. Things are expensive enough and now having to buy another pair of winter boots before Christmas sucks! We have been buying muck boots for years for our older daughter and while they hold up well it’s been hard finding a warm enough boot for winter.

Narrow ankle
Great boots but the ankle is so narrow, my little boy can’t get these boots off without adult help. He has some old Mucks that are literally two sizes smaller and he can get in and out of those on his own.
