About the Book
"Big Daddy appoints Kid, his youngest descendant to manage 'The Suites,' a peculiar hotel located behind the Black Crown Pub. Kid's good looks and swagger can't hide a rough childhood of strange therapies and brain operations that have awakened inner demons and psychodramas. This, of course, makes him eminenty qualified to perform lobotomies. This failed rockstar/successful madman gets one last chance to prove his worth--and regain his sanity--by turning the hotel that was once his childhood sanctuary into a lucrative business, despite a host of obstacles including his own sister..."
Book Synopsis
Come as you are, leave as someone else. In the winding hallways of The Suites, anything can happen--whether you like it or not! Join Kid, the proprietor of this fine hotel, as he tries to hold on to his father's business--and his own sanity.
Kid, as he's affectionately referred to, is the youngest child of Big Daddy, an aging hotelier with more than his fair share of dark secrets tucked into the corners of the crown jewel of his empire: The Suites, where the guests are in danger of losing much more than their luggage. See, Kid has shed a few (okay, more than a few) brain cells in his day, which naturally makes him qualified to perform a lobotomy or two. And why let those brain bits go to waste when he can use them to help--or unwittingly harm--his patients?
Ultimately, Kid hopes to restore some of his sanity. But can he navigate his sister's devious plotting, vivid hallucinations, and his own crumbling mental state to uncover the truth about his cursed lineage and face what runs rampant throughout the torturous hotel hallways? Simply put, you've never read anything like this. You won't be able to look away.
Collects issues #1-6 of the ongoing series.

About the Author
Peter Milligan, born 1961, is one of the most prolific provocateurs in comics. From the warped, existential romp on Shade, the Changing Man to the visceral horror of Hellblazer and Britannia, Milligan continues to innovate and elevate the comics art form with a clever cadence and searing social commentary. He also writes for movies and television.
Tess Fowler started out in Heavy Metal Magazine, but it was her artwork on Rat Queens (with Kurtis Wiebe) that put her on the map. Her bold, frenetic brushwork and unforgettable character designs complement Milligan's flair for the bleeding heart and dark humor of the human condition. Her webcomic, The Rascals, can be found at http: //rascalscomic.com/. She lives in Los Angeles with her husband.
