I've purchased Kichler indoor lamps and always had a positive experience. For the exterior of my house I ordered five of this model. Two of the globes were undersized and wouldn't fit a standard A19 bulb. One was missing the cover screw (missing 1 of 2) these are custom and they don't have service parts, had the hassle of replacing the entire fixture. The fourth item was delivered with a smashed globe.

As a homeowner with very little DIY experience, ease of installation and creating a more modern/aesthetically pleasing look have been my main goals. This checked all of the boxes! From a smooth install, to the immediate upgrade, this light can't be best. As a bonus, it casts a very pleasing, soft light that doesn't glare through my front windows everytime a car drives by and sets it off. I'm in love!

It was simple to install if you have basic electric knowledge it wires like any typical light. The center glass part has a nice frosted appearance giving it a unique look.

The only issue is that you need to remove two screws above the sconce, so that’s a little inconvenient. But overall, it’s a really great product and would probably look good with most decors.

I would have given this light 5 stars but the I felt the materials could have been of better quality to the price.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We installed the South Hope sconce on our back patio to update an old fixture that wasn't giving off enough light. I really like how this doesn't have your typical clear glass. The light bulb is enclosed in the white shade which gives off a really pretty glow while still providing adequate light for my backyard at night. You will need to purchase a smaller bulb to make sure it fits inside the casing. We bought a 60W A15 medium base bulb which can be used for a fan light. It worked perfect and looks great. The squared edges gives it a more modern look and it feels solid and well made.

The globe shines enough light for you to be able to see. I love the design. The globe looks like a candle. Very well made. Easy to install.

The subtle bronze coloring blends well with the cream paint and green accents of my home. The glass is clear which allows the light to flood the entire area. It was very easy to install; I have no "handyman" skills and I did it by myself. I have been thrilled with all of my Kichler products. This one is no different; it is well constucted with quality materials and looks lovely.
