Kichler Lighting Arvada 1 - Light Ceiling Fan in Black

For a ceiling fan of this size wish 5 blades we expected the fan to be much stronger. You can barely feel the breeze when the setting is low or medium. Also we had to buy the remote control separately adding to the already high cost. The light has only on and off function and is rather dim. Can’t recommend this fan.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Arvada LED 3000k 44” Fan is perfect for my daughters bedroom. Her bedroom is the smallest room in the house, so I decided to go with the 44”. Installation was a breeze! And didn’t take long at all! The lighting is fantastic and my daughter loves that it comes with a remote control !

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently installed this Arvada LED 3000k 44" ceiling fan in satin black and it is about as perfect as a ceiling fan could get. It took me about an hour to install the fan and switch on my own and the instructions were extremely simple to follow. This product can be installed by anyone regardless of ceiling fan installation experience. The fan is constructed with high quality and heavy-duty parts that are sure to last the test of time. I installed the fan in a 12' by 12' bedroom and the airflow is excellent. You can have the blades rotate in either forward or reverse and there are three available fan speeds. My favorite feature of this product is how quietly it operates, which makes it perfect for those hot nights without disrupting your sleep. The LED Iight sufficiently illuminates the entire room and can be dimmed through the use of the wall control system. The celing fan includes a downrod which would be beneficial for rooms with high ceilings but I chose to install it without the downrod. The black satin finish makes for a modern and stylish design that would work well in rooms of any color. Kichler once again met all my expectations and I would definitely recommend this product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband had the opportunity to install Kichler's Arvada LED 44" Fan in our two-year-old daughters bedroom. Having experience with hardwiring and fan installation, this fan and switch panel took about one hour from assembly to completed installation. I absolutely love the industrial look of the Arvada fan, as my home is industrial/contemporary in design. The option to reverse the fan blades is really terrific, as we opted for the antique gray blade to match my daughters nautical themed room. The construction and quality of the fam components is superior to previous brands we have owned. The 3-speed fan provides plenty of cool air and circulation in my daughters room-- which tends to run a bit warm in the summer months. Reversing the blade direction on this fan for the winter months is a simple button-push. The 44" blade size we chose is perfect for my daughters smaller room. The LED light provides ample brightness and I love that this fan/light are easily controlled with a push-button panel. A huge positive about this fan is that it is super quiet when running even on the highest fan speed. Not a peep to be heard. The largest drawback of this particular fan, in my opinion, is the design of the wall control unit. The unit itself is perfectly functional and features rubber buttons to control light power and fan speed. However, the appearance is super dated looking in comparison to the contemporary look and feel of the fan. I wish Kichler would have modernized the wall plate just a bit for aesthetic purposes. Despite this, we are super pleased with the apoearance and function of the Arvada LED 44" fan. This fan is stylish, provides excellent circulation and air flow, and all-around terrific quality.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a beautiful ceiling fan, All the pieces are of good weight and sturdy. My husband, who is an electrician installed it in about 40 minutes including the switch. It was installed in the center of the kitchen without the downrod and the ceiling is 7.5 feet. The fan provides plenty of air circulation on all three speeds and there was no wobbling even on the highest setting and it is completely quiet. It was easy to reverse the direction of the fan through the included wall switch. When installed without the downrod the distance between the ceiling and the blades was 9" and from the ceiling to the bottom of the light was 10.5". I love the two different sides of the fan blades, each gives your room a different look. The light is bright however, the fan motor assembly completely surrounds the light so you get a downward light instead of an all around light. The middle of my kitchen down to the floor was lit up nicely but from the middle to the ceiling was somewhat dark, the kind of dark you get when you have two bulbs in a light fixture and one bulb dies. If I had a higher ceiling I would not have had this problem so it isn't a problem with the ceiling fan. We will be adding recessed lights and keep this ceiling fan up because I love it. The light is dimmable simply by holding down the light button on the wall switch, it gradually goes from brightest down to just a glow.
