Description

The Fast Fit Dryden 5/8" Easy Install Decorative Window Curtain Rod by Kenney is as easy to hang as a picture frame. Position the innovative brackets onto the wall and tap the included nails into place. Using nails instead of screws leaves less damage behind on the wall. The easy installation doesn't sacrifice performance, as the Fast Fit curtain rod provides excellent support, up to 25 pounds. The telescoping metal rod adjusts from 36 to 66 inches or 66 to 120 inches to fit your window and projects 3 inches from the wall. A 5/8 inch diameter curtain rod is recommended for use with light to medium weight curtains in your bedroom or living room. Drapery Hardware Set Includes: one telescoping steel curtain rod with decorative finials (2.72" L x 2.02" W x 2.02 H), two brackets, one center support, nails, measuring template, and installation instructions. When considering purchasing a curtain rod, measuring the area is essential to ensure a perfect fit. Here’s a few helpful tips on how to measure before buying. Determine the Curtain Rod’s Placement. Above Your Window: For a more spacious appearance, hang your curtains 4" to 6" above your window’s frame or trim. Choose Your Curtain Rod’s Width: Measure the width of your window, including the frame or trim. Measure the Curtain Rod’s Diameter: Consider the weight of your curtains (e.g., blackout curtains, thermal curtains, or sheers) when selecting the rod diameter. I’m not exactly a professional handy man at home but found this to be one of the easiest, sturdiest curtain rods I have used In my home. My windows are 38” and the rod adjusted perfectly to fit my window. It looks very elegant and with the gold and maroon curtains my wife purchased. I don’t have to worry about the kids accidentally pulling down the curtain or the curtains weighing it down. Very pleased with the ease and solidness of this rod. I will definitely be upgrading others around my home.

I was so fast installing it I shocked myself! I currently have a lightweight curtain on it (in my daughter's bedroom). The rod is lightweight but strong enough to hold up a heavier curtain. The appearance is okay. Nothing really decorative about it.

I hate hanging curtains.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don't know a person that actually likes to hang curtains. Doing everything you need to hang a curtain is long and frustrating. The regular curtain rods easily break and bend with the slightest pull. I needed to change out one by my son's bed. He managed to bend the old rod. Putting this one up was a breeze. A little awkward with how the nails go in and such a big hammer head, but super easy. I had the new rod up and curtains hanging in less than 5 minutes. Now to replace all the ones in the house.
