  • A: I was extremely disappointed to discover not only is it NOT genuine obsidian, it isn’t “black glass” either~! I held it up to sunlight & it was an inconsistent semi transparent burgundy color. Upon closer inspection I found a small clear “dot” that revealed this sphere to be spray painted. False advertising at its worst.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love this crystal ball. It's a great compliment to my living room I even move it into my bedroom. I love the stand it comes on and how well it keeps the ball in place. It is NOT a toy I do not recommend kids playing with it. This was beautifully made.

Excellent purchase!

Excellent purchase. Definitely worth the price! It's big, heavy and gorgeous. My only complaint is the red felt circle pad in the stand is way off centered, but I don't mind because the sphere covers it and it looks exactly like the advertised picture. I received my product very quickly. I'm extremely pleased with my purchase and highly recommend it to anyone who likes black obsidian quartz.
