Messed up my baking
I've purchased this almond butter before and loved the way my gluten free brownies turned out. But I recently purchased 5 jars of Justin's nut butter to make holiday treats and they were all hard as a rock. I tried to make one batch anyway and they were dry as a bone. Sort of upset because this wasn't cheap to purchase 5 jars. I have to pay postage to return! Oh well....lesson learned.

The best there is.
Most Almond butters have added ingredients. This doesn't and it tastes the best of all we have tried elsewhere..

Not Sealed
The jar was not sealed.I had oil all over my counter.It was probably rancid because it wasn't refrigerated yet.

I'm addicted to almond butter. Have to have a stash even if not having it every day I feel nervous when there isn't one in the pantry. I used to order another brand that comes in a glass jar but as it arrived smashed last time I switched to this that comes in plastic. I order both plain as well as the chocolate and maple ones from Justin's. It's nice to have the whole selection and switch between them. Would definitely recommend it.

Being allergic to peanut butter, this product satisfies my cravings! Always excellent taste, freshness and high quality product. I keep a jar at work and eat a spoonful when I need an extra boost of energy. This is one very satisfied customer.

Terrific nut butter. I keep my nut butters in the refrigerator & my biggest complaint is that they stiffen up & become impossible to spread. Not Justin's Almond Butter. Stays smooth & easy to spread with very little stirring needed. The taste is great too. Thoroughly enjoyable. Will buy again & highly recommend!

Love this stuff!
It's the best value in almond butter that I've found. I like the fact that it doesn't contain and salt or sweetener too. I add my own salt to taste, and sweeten with stevia.

Needs a little salt
I was looking for almond butter without sweeteners, so I bought Jason's Classic Almond Butter (they also make a very tasty Almond Butter with Maple). Unfortunately, I didn't realize how bland it was going to taste without just a little bit of salt (I don't normally salt our food). I stirred in some salt and the taste was greatly enhanced.

After trying Justin's plain almond butter, I bought the chocolate hazelnut butter too. I was unhappy that Swanson's sent me the chocolate hazelnut with a use by date that was only 3 months away (normally, I would not use the container that fast). I was going to send it back but decided I should taste it first. After tasting the chocolate hazelnut, I realized that it will be gone before the use by date anyway. This stuff is really good and I like the ingredients list.

Overall this had a good flavor, if a little mild, and I like that it's healthy. It was a bit drier and thicker that I am used to, but this comes down to personal preference and not lack of quality of the product.

I purchased Jason's Almond Butter to get the true taste of pure almond butter with no tropical fats. The almond butter I buy in my local supermarket is a 'no-stir' variety, meaning that it has palm oil added to it, to keep it solid at room temperature. Pure natural red palm oil has its place, but it is not in almond butter. I prefer to taste almond oil in almond butter. The only thing that I think might improve this is a little salt, but if you are on a low-sodium diet, this product is ideal. It is delicious on apple slices, as a sandwich or snack.
