I rescued a 7 year old mixed breed small dog in late March, 2025. I have tried several types of dog food attempting to find a good fit that is easy to measure and feed. He loves to eat but I am worried about weight maintenance. So many of the fresh foods have vague feeding portion guidelines. Just Fresh was just as confusing . My dog loves the food and eats it with excitement. I have found the best way to measure his food is by calorie allotments. Just Fresh indicates feeding by dividing the package into portions. This is hard with a small dog. I want to feed fresh , but I am finding portion/calorie control difficult. He is not a fan of kibble.

The only hesitation is the price point at $6.99 per pouch, which is about one serving for a large dog. If this weren’t part of a promotion, I’d need to rethink how often I could purchase it. That said, as a mixer rather than a full meal, it feels much more realistic, and based on how much my dog loved it, it’s something I’d consider keeping on hand to rotate into meals. Again, all that said, this was still a simple, fresh nutritional meal mixer my dog LOVED, and Gobbled it right down wagging his tail the entire time! I'm kicking myself for not taking a movie or at least a photo like I normally do!

The package also has a portion for dog size which is great, CoCo is a little under 40 lb so we use this for half his meal plus dry food
