This talking flash card talking toy is a great value! My 3 year old is speech delayed and I am willing to try anything to promote speech. My kid loves inserting the cards in the card reader--it's easy and I think just physically inserting the cards helps keeps her engaged. There are over 100 cards and the cards' illustrations are beautiful. The reader's voice is clear and so far, my kid has repeated simple words here and there, which is progress! We, the parents, were taught in speech therapy to use a new words we're repeating into a sentence, so I appreciate that after the reader reads the words, there is a short sentence that follows. Once a child progresses through the words, there are games/questions that can be answered by touching the reader, but my kid isn't there yet. This flash card reader really surpassed my expectations and so far, it is durable (no broken pieces) and although the cards are not super thick, none have ripped even though my kids are super rough. It comes with a storage bag, which is really nice. With all that said, I really love this educational toy--it functions as a toy and a teaching tool. Again great value and I highly recommend!

I ordered the Lalalark talking flash card toy with 136 sight words and 64 games in the color pink. When I opened this set for my kids to use, I was amazed by the quality of this game. The device has a volume control switch for high, low, off, and a repeat button. The cards are all double-sided, and the audio voice is clear and easy to understand. This is a perfect gift that can be used for many years as the cards are leveled for difficulty ranging from 1 star for easier tasks, up to 4 stars for more challenging tasks. One star cards included sight words, and things a toddler or preschooler could use, up to for example 4 star cards that show telling time which is a 2nd grade skill. This is perfect for preschoolers, elementary school students or even English Language Learners. This is a cool little device at a great value!

This is fine for any toddler to start learning vocabulary. You pop the card in and it reads to you. What is on it to help you recognize the language with the word and the picture this is a perfect learning tool for all toddlers going in into pre-K or even kindergarten to help teach them their sight words, letters shapes, and colors. I was a very nice educational school yet. They don't even realize it's teaching them because to them it's a toy.

It comes with a carry bag to carry the reader and cards. Which is absolutely wonderful as it makes it very portable in addition to it being a super light. It has two sound levels which is quite helpful. It does require two AAA batteries not included. Overall, I do believe this is going to be super helpful. I will update after she has used it for a while.
