Battery operated no timer

For some reason not just one, but two of our stars stopped working this year. I bought this star in a pinch. it is pretty, but it didn't fit on the top of my tree as the attachment was small. I literally had to break off an attachment from last years star and rig it up. In addition, it is battery operated without a timer. That means I have to get up on a step ladder every time I want it on.

Not well thought out by the manufacturer.

I gave this 3 stars because it is beautiful but I did return this item. It is battery operated but unfortunately it does not have a timer. I was not willing to bring over a step stool to reach the star on top of the tree everytime to turn it on and off. Not well planned by the manufacturer.

Well I bought this as a scramble purchase. Thankfully it's a good size for my tree. I didnt realise it was battery operated when I purchased it but I didnt make it an issue. There are 2 modes and I only used the plain bright no blinking mode. I didnt go wrong for the price.
