Q: Is the top set of screws supposed to stay fairly loose (for folding)? Won't that pinch little fingers?

A: Hi! The top screws stay somewhat loose to allow the seat to fold and unfold. Once your child is sitting on the seat, they should remain in place. For extra caution, try to keep your child's fingers away from that area. Thanks

Don't Bother
Not worth it. Difficult for toddler to climb their self. Better to purchase a step stool that is wide enough for them to stand on and turn around on their own.

Great product except…
This product is great, the only thing is, one of the handles were “janky” so during assembly it wouldn’t fully screw in…but I mean it isn’t that big of a deal because my kid doesn’t pull on the handles but for others it may be a safety concern.
