submitted byNia - 1 year agoA: The mint latch™ is a baseless car seat. It can be installed as easily (or easier) as a base by rotating the rigid LATCH out and clicking on your vehicle's anchor points. When installing using any method, make sure the car seat is level, and the indicators on the LATCH connectors are green. Do not install with both LATCH and the seat belt, choose only one means of installation.

Q: Has anyone tried to lay their newborn flat in the stroller by laying the back all the way down? Is it safe to do so?
A: Personally I don’t like or recommend it, it’s not flat like a bassinet so I feel like baby isn’t secure

submitted byBri - 8 months agoA: I have been laying my newborn in it. One of my favorite features is, after laying it flat, you can pull up the end of it to block baby from sliding out the bottom. Or I can clip it back down when my toddler rides in the stroller in the upright position. Obviously, with a brand new baby I put things around her to ensure she isn’t rolling all over the place. I even put my snuggleme organic in it once when we took it for a long stroll in Waikiki! Baby slept through everything!!
submitted byct - 4 months agoA: Thanks for reaching out. The nutmeg stroller can be used from birth on it's own or with a joie infant car seat as a travel system. To use the stroller from birth the seat must be fully reclined, the calf-support must be fully raised and the closure flaps attached.

Q: When installing the car seat do you need to do the seatbelt & the latch? Or just one or the other. Thank you!
A: Why should you not use both? Wouldnt using both just provide more security? Having just the anchors locked in, it does not keep the other side of the seat from lifting up off of the seat.

Q: How can you measure/decide if the mint infant car seat -maple is compatible with/fits correctly in your vehicle?
A: Thank you for your question. The mint latch is a baseless infant car seat that can be installed using most cars' rigid lower anchor attachments. The vehicle manufacturer determines the dimensions and specifications of the lower anchors in your car, which can vary from car to car. You should measure from the middle of each anchor point in your vehicle; if it is approximately 11 inches, the mint latch should fit. If you can not use the lower anchor attachments in a car, you can still install the mint latch without a base using the vehicle seat belt.

A: No this is an infant car seat only

Q: Can the car seat fit maxi cosi attachments for other strollers/wagons?
A: Thanks for your question. The mint latch™ car seat has not been tested with strollers other brands, so we cannot recommend using it with anything other than joie™ strollers at this time.

Q: Can the stroller seat be removed when using the car seat on the stroller?
A: No, the seat is always on.

Q: Does the travel system also have the "newborn nest" that secures the foot support when folded up for recline shown on the standalone stroller?
