Beautiful high end board
I bought the walnut board for my husband for Christmas as he likes to cook and bbq. The walnut looks just like the photo. It's very heavy and the juice catcher and handles are both a very nice detail that you don't know you need until you need it! It's the perfect cutting board if you envy tv chefs with their huge wood boards for chop and prep! I also ordered the matching board oil and applicator in walnut as well. We love everything!

Nice but high maintenance
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this board despite already seeing wear. It's a great color, heavy, and I love that it has the moat and the handle indents. Unfortunately it already has some rings on it. It would be nice if it came with a sample of the oil, because I will have to get some. It's a little disappointing that I've barely used it and it's already showing wear though. It seems like it needs more maintenance than am every day board.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thank you John Boos for this beautiful walnut cutting board. 🎁 This is an amazing accessory for a home, and I love the shade of wood and it’s flavor. It’s pretty heavy and incredibly beautiful, the cut kitchen tool for cutting meat fish or a fruit. I have particular admiration of this deep juice group that makes all mine cooking process very accurate and clean. I would recommend this product, especially if a heavy wooden cutting board is not an issue: if your hands are strong enough to carry this with the food on it. I also like that it has special grooves on its sides to carry it: with a handle so it’s easy to grab it! If I could improve anything in this cutting board I would maybe polish the surface of woo a little bit more than it is now. Overall I adore the design how solid and simple it is a beautiful shade of natural wood everything makes me admire my new accessory thank you so much and we’re wishing you all the success ✨

The design is great with the grooves all around to catch any juices. It also just looks so nice on the counter!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the heaviest most durable cutting board I've ever had. The quality is amazing and it has a lot of cutting area. You have to buy the Boos Block Mystery Oil to maintain the board, so keep that in mind. It is so beautiful that it could be used as a charcuterie board as well.

Beautiful statement piece
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is such a beautiful cutting board that I don’t want to use it as a cutting board because I don’t want to mark it up. The board itself is huge. I like that it has a channel around the main cutting area so the juice of fruits, veggies and meats won’t run off onto the countertops. I think this board will be great as a charcuterie board (which will be my intended use for this product) because of its size and the channel will work as a safety net for any of the items that try to fall off. It is also just such a statement piece. There are indentions on the short sides of the board to make carrying easier. Some call outs from the company that I like as well are the use of renewable and sustainable hardwood, preserves the edge of fine cutlery, and has an all-natural food-grade oil finish. So happy to have this in my home.
