I am 5’5” and 195lbs (carry most of my weight in a ring around my stomach, above my hips), and fit perfectly into a size LG for this one. For reference, I usually fit into LG in the original Everactive Joggers, but have to go up to an XL on any cotton-based bottoms, such as the cotton stretch capris or pants (otherwise they will cut into my stomach at the middle seam). This fabric is stretchy and flattering enough that I can easily fit into a LG. The band has enough give so as to be a comfortable & effortless fit, but is sturdy enough to stay up snugly without rolling up and/or feeling like it’s being stretched to its limits to go over my stomach. I originally got this as a more structured & less “workout”-looking alternative to the regular Everactive Jogger. The fabric appears to be exactly the same as that of the original EA jogger, which means it is comfortable - but unfortunately not as structured as I’d hoped. So you can get a sense of what i mean - when i put my keys or phone in the mid-thigh pocket, it droops down from the weight (because the fabric is very stretchy and the same thinness as original EA). I’m still 100% satisfied anyway, but I wanted to let folks know that this is not a thicker fabric than original EA. It’s the other details (ruched, thinner waistband + ruched ankle bands) that differentiate this from original EA. Other than that - same fit. Which is a good thing for me, just not the structured fit I was looking for.
