Yuck
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you want fatty, salty bacon get this brand; if you want good bacon, go to your local farmers market. There were 4 “good” pieces of non fatty bacon in the pack but the rest was worthy only of the trash. I definitely will not be buying this in the future. Not worth what you pay for at all.

Yummy bacon
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love all Jimmy Dean bacon products, and the Applewood flavor is one of my favorites. I usually bake it in the oven at 375°F for about 30 minutes, and the results are always amazing—crispy, crunchy, and absolutely delicious. I also save the bacon grease to sauté vegetables, which makes them taste even better.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What can I say? It’s pretty good bacon for a pretty good price. About 12 slices per package and they’re decently thick - not like the flimsy, paper-thin slices I’ve had from other brands. I prefer baking them in the oven so I can keep using the stovetop as they cook (and it keeps them flat, which I like for non-breakfast uses, like pre-making for sandwiches).

The Jimmy Dean Applewood Smoked Bacon is a great edition to our meal. It is not too fatty, not too sweet and has a nice smoky flavor. We prefer a crisper bacon, and these cooked perfectly. From sandwiches to burgers or a fun breakfast, bacon adds a fun flavorable bite to any meal. Jimmy Dean is one of our favorite brands, also. This Applewood Smokes Bacon was a bit more fat than I’m use to but was still absolutely delicious. Applewood smokes flavored, making our bacon, egg and cheese sandwiches perfect. I look forward to trying some other flavors, as well. The scent lingered in the air for a bit afterwards making the house smell delightful. Great work Jimmy Dean!!

For what this is ..it's a staple

To be clear, as a shopper I look for premium products, especially without nitrates. Which this bacon does have. However for what Jimmy Dean is offering with this bacon, it's a stand out reliable product. I enjoy its flavor, the process of cooking is reliable. When it comes to name brand I trust amongst the other options in this category, it's Jimmy Dean bacon I go for. Staple product.

I would definitely buy again for quality and taste
