Amazing Affordable Quality Rye
Jim Beam Rye has a nice smooth-spicy taste i would rate this a 4.2/5 mixer as it does leave some sweetness to be desired, and a 4.7/5 straight shot rounding this up to a nice 5/5 for me personally for the price and quality.

A very good rye at good price .
I just had Jim Beam rye for the first time. I first had it in a shot glass and just sipped on it until I finished it,very tasty. Then I had a shot on ice it also was very good. Thats all I can say about drinking rye because I do not mix soda or any thing else with my whisky!

I bought a second time.
I bought this Jim Bean Straight Rye Whiskey for a second time. It has a smooth but spicy flavor. This is not a spirit that you do shots with: There is no overwhelming flavor. It is sipped straight with pure delight.

I'm not a sipper and this rye is great in a cocktail
You know you're drinking rye. That's important if it's your first bottle. Still, it balances and does not overcome the cocktail. Manhattans and Little italys.

A rye option
Sometimes a rye whiskey is desired for the spice and kick offered. All ryes are not really enjoyable ;however, Jim Beam Rye is ....... it has the balance of rye spice and oak char ... No doubt a time tested mash . When you have that inclination for a rye whiskey try this one........ it is good.

Our family and some friends drink nothing but JB rye
In past bought the yellow label but can't find so buy green label. Very popular, sometimes sold out. Great product. Make old fashion with Rye bitters, seltzer, and couple of olives. Healthy with no sugar.

Best rye whiskey
I drink it straight up or over ice. Use to buy Templeton and tasted side by side and they were so similar I never bought templeton again.

Stunningly Awesome
This is amazing. My large family likes to do blind taste test. This Rye was everyone's favorite. Just one ice cube & the Rye. The only problem we have is it goes so fast.

A new staple in my liquor cabinet
i'm a rye enthusiast and prefer bourbons steep in rye. this is my first experience with Jim beam rye and i became an instant fan. full of flavor from the grain, vanilla and oak. it has earned a place, along with a few others, on my bourbon/rye shelf. fantastic price too!

Smooth and pleasant
I've gone to drinking rye whenever possible. I stopped while traveling to pick up a bottle of what was then my choice of rye to take to a Christmas gathering. They didn't have my chosen brand so I thought I'd try the JBR which I'd never seen before. I'm very pleased I did !!!! Smooth and pleasant in a mixed drink. The price point is fair with a better finish to the whiskey than those of twice the cost. I enjoyed it so much I made sure to stop on my way home to buy two more bottles to take home because I can't get it locally.

Surprisingly better than expected
I really like using this for my old fashioned cocktails. It has a great spice taste that lends to classic cocktails. It's classic taste but refreshing as well I like it and think you might as well

Best rye i have found
i am a rye whiskey drinker, and i have tried many different brands at a wide range of price points. Jim beam pre prohibition rye is my favorite and deservedly so. it is bold but smooth, filled with rye spice but in a fully developed, mature way. i love it. great job jim beam.

Great taste!
I have had a few expensive ages whiskey and this has the taste and characteristics of a much older more aged whiskey. Very strong oak and char taste.

Jim Beam Rye
I like it on the rocks best......it bites a bit with spice of black pepper and rye but finishes well with a linger of oak char and hot distillation.......this is a good whisky and an equally good rye...also priced right.
