Easy to use and follow along. You just need to have some feel for the internal temp of the meat and not really go off the timer sometimes.

I’m sense

It came with no instructions
I am believing i must need some app or something. Got it as a gift. Absolutely no instructions. No idea what to do with it other than return it. I thought the scan would get me to instructions but was only to a warranty.
