Although the colors are a bit different from my usual color scheme, I feel they still tie the room together nicely. The blanket is somewhat stiff and scratchy. I’ll need to wash it with fabric softener to see if that improves the feel and texture to make it more functional. The tricky part is that it’s dry clean only, but I think putting it in a laundry bag and washing it on a delicate cycle might work. It makes for a great accent blanket. Just a heads-up—it is a luxury item, so it’s on the pricey side. I’m not sure how comfortable I feel spending that much on a blanket that isn’t as soft as I’d like, though it is undeniably beautiful.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First, I think this blanket is really beautiful and the weight is really nice. The packaging was also very minimal and eye catching. Secondly, I would definitely call this a decorative throw and not a blanket. The pictures I attached are the blanket stretched out across our king size bed. I have blankets that are a similar size so that ain’t a problem, but due to the texture and the attached Pompoms this ain’t a throw I would grab to get warm or cozy with. It is very pretty and the neutral colors and design allow for this throw to be styled with anything. Third, I knocked it down one star because it has a bit of a pungent smell at first and while that usually is not a problem, this throw is dry clean only. It has definitely cleared up over time, but the fact I can’t easily toss this in the washing machine from time to time is not the most convenient for me.

After first opening the package, the blanket will have a slightly chemical-y smell to it but you just need to air it out for a couple of days and it would be just fine. I love keeping this on my chair/couch as a statement piece and it also keeps me warm during chilly weather.

It's big enough for one person and seems fairly well made. The thing is that I thought it would be a little softer than it is, but by no means is it too rough or scratchy. Also, it's dry clean only. When you have kids and dogs, it's tough to have items like that.
