We have been able to make double batches of our favorite soups for these cozy winter nights. The only thing I wish is that it was dishwasher safe but I'll take the versatility and light weight to the pot if that is the trade off, this pot is easy to store despite its size. It is also easy to hand wash as it is light weight and not cumbersome. The cool touch handles to the pot are a nice add on and the surface is truly nonstick! Even two day old chili wiped away easily and did not stick to the pan at all. It looks just as new as the day I got it. I love the speckled pattern on the inside of the pot as it invokes that nostalgic feel and reminder of pots and pans my grandma used to use when I was young.

Feeding a family of six can be difficult, especially when trying to make one-pot meals, but this Dutch Oven made it a breeze. First and foremost, I love the "cool" handles. I didn't have to use gloves to strain my pasta, which is a huge plus for me when there are ankle biters around lol. Next, I was pleasantly surprised to find that my noodles fit perfectly without hanging outside the pot. Yes, I am one of those people who does not cut pasta in half, so seeing the pasta lay flat was very cool. The color helped to hide the brown spots that I usually see when sautéing, which can be unsightly. The lid itself didn't fit perfectly, which was the only problem. I made multiple attempts to turn it, but I was never able to get it to sit in the "grooves" properly. I'm happy to report that, aside from this aesthetic defect, I've found a Dutch oven that will soon be overused for a lot of other one-pot recipes.

With the cold weather arriving, I was so excited to try it as it's the perfect time to make stews, soups and chilis! It arrived beautifully packaged with the lid intact. As it is very sizable, it's perfect for making sufficient portions for parties/gatherings or just freezing any leftovers for the week (which we did with our beef and vegetable soup dinner!) I personally love that the cool touch handles are extended further away from the sides protecting you from potential burns (versus another pot I own which requires pot holders to transport the soup). The ceramic non-stick coating also makes it so easy to clean. I think the price is definitely affordable and would recommend to others.

I've used it several times already in a little over a week, which included Thanksgiving. Soups and stews have always been my favorite things to cook, and this pot is absolutely perfect for them. My boyfriend also used it for sous vide lamb one day, and it was ideal. The surface is completely nonstick, and it heats evenly and quickly, so I was able to brown my vegetables and meats perfectly without anything adhering or burning, and I still got good color and caramelization. The capacity, of course, is huge. I never came close to filing it except with the sous vide, but I'm looking forward to making one of my enormous, long simmering winter stews in this pot so I can freeze a bunch. I was careful, by the way, to follow the manufacturer's instructions and use wooden or nylon implements. Perhaps the best part is cleanup. Inside and out, a light sponge and a little soap and it's spotless. Looks brand new. My only negatives are the handles. I wish that they were oven safe, and the metal centers do get a little warmer than I prefer during cooking. But they are hardly a deal breaker. I would still happily have an entire set of these pots.

I tried it on my electric stove, and it cooked my beans perfectly. I especially love the triangular top; it makes it super easy to hold. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I would never call this 10 quart pot a Dutch oven, even if it is coated in ceramic. Because it is coated, it is less likely to burn your food. The lid is not heavy enough to trap heat and moisture for it to be considered a Dutch oven. However with that said, it is a very nice sized pot and I like how wide it is and tall enough for stews and soups. The triangular handle on the lid does feel nice in my hand. It works on electric ranges too. However, I do wish there was no metal accents on the handles, unnecessary burn risk.
