Burns skin!! Do not buy
After ten minutes this started burning my skin so bad! I tried washing it off multiple times but that didn't stop the burning. it just got worse. The pain was so intense - like a sun burn. Eventually I covered my back in Vaseline and just kept loading it on and it slowly started to calm down. Do NOT buy this product. I googled how to treat icy hot burns and stumbled upon these reviews and am completely shocked this happened to so many other people

Fast and effective
The smell is strong. Once applied to my back, with my shirt on afterwards, I could feel the heat. The overall cleanup on your body is not bad. It’s not sticky or hard to wash off. This icy hot roll on is very simple to use. Roll it on your painful muscle and feel instant relief.

Great for muscle aches

HORRIBLE BURNS
I applied this roll on version of icy hot at work around 10am, didn’t feel any cooling or heating sensation all day. Woke up at 3am just about crying in pain. My knees and thigh was burning SO much, where I alllked the icy hot. I washed it off with cool water and applied aloe, but the burning pain is still very intense, causing chills throughout the rest of my body and I can’t have anything touch the affected area without it hurting even more!!! DO NOT USE THIS!!!

Awful product cause chemical burns
I got this and was thrilled to use it. I'm a teacher and usually have a sore back and neck. Took a shower, dried off, applied this to my neck and my back. My neck and my back were fine for about an hour, just super warm. Gradually got more uncomfortable. Went to go look in the mirror, and my whole back was broken out. I also put this on my feet, and they are fine though. I'm so disappointed. All I wanted was relief and now I'm in more pain.

Love this product. I usually put it on in the morning and it will last half the day minimum. I love the smell. It may seem strong at first but it mellows out. It is instant relief that is while this little carry around is my go to.

Awful! Do NOT buy this product!!!
I bought this product to help with shoulder/neck pain. I have used Icy Hot before but figured I would try the roll on applicator for less mess….. BIG MISTAKE! Not even 10 minutes after applying, I had to run to the sink and wash it off because my skin was burning so badly. Literally felt like a flame was being held to my neck!! My neck was turning red and my shoulder/back were getting red and patchy. After water and soap wouldn’t stop the burning, I smothered myself in Vaseline and oil to help with the burning sensation. While that helped minimize the pain a smidge, I could still feel the burning! The next day my skin was still tender when touched. I will NEVER use this product again, nor will I EVER recommend it to anyone!

Instant cooling effect
Application is so easy for areas that are not easily reachable like shoulders and back. Scent is not too strong and mess free application. Instantly can feel the cooling sensation and soothes the pain.

When did I get old

Something clearly wrong with the product
I wasn’t sure if I was alone in this, but after reading more reviews it seems that all this product does is burn people! I was in so much pain only a few minutes after application on my neck and even after washing it off! I have had no problems with their creams before so not sure what’s up with the stick!

CHEMICAL BURNS
This product gave me chemical burns. Sure, it stopped the aches on my back- but it caused even more pain by giving me a sunburn like pain!! DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. The pain feels HOT and unbearable.

Causes More Pain
I just woke up to a very hot hot hot feel on my elbow and I’m thinking this isn’t normal. I started googling and then ending up reading these reviews. I’m like lovely. Do not buy it burns like a sunburn not like it’s warming to heal. Kept me up.

Instant relief
The roller applicator makes it super easy to apply without getting anything on your hands (which I love). It goes on cool, kicks in fast, and really helps calm muscle aches and tension. I use it on my lower back and shoulders, and it gives me that icy warm relief almost instantly. If you deal with soreness or stiffness, this is definitely one of those must-have products to keep around.

Would not recommend, causes burn to skin
Would not recommend this product at all! It caused bad burns on my boyfriend’s skin. He applied some on his knees and it burned for hours even after rinsing and washing it off. The area is very red and irritated. After this, I started looking into the product more and see that there are multiple reports of this happening to others as well. This item should be discontinued!

I wish I would have read these before putting this on my knee! It’s burning so bad and no matter how many times I’ve washed it the pain is still there and progressively getting worse! I may have to go to the hospital because I might have burns from this product on my knee! This needs to be taken off the shelf and give us and the rest of our money back! This is RIDICULOUS!
