  • A: My dog also needs a low fat diet, this one is high. I googled and it says "Minimum Crude Fat 16%". Blue Buffalo makes a low fat kibble (need vet RX) that my dogs LOVE.

No good for my dachshund

My dachshund went as far as to pick this food out and leave it on the floor when I mixed with his old food. He would touch it I even attempted to add other items and again he would pick it out and spit it on the floor.

Bummer, but we're so glad you gave it a try. The Baked & Saucy is a larger kibble size, which can be challenging for some pups with smaller mouths. Few inhredient food

I have two adult male dogs. The lab will eat it but the golden will not. They like dry dog food but got a bit spoiled when I added some air dried nibblers to their food months ago and now the golden only wants the good stuff. Overall, it is a good food and fewer but more quality ingredients is a good thing.

Versatile - perfect for discerning dogs!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My dogs can be particular about the food they eat and have not been eating dry dog food well since trying raw and fresh food options - but it’s so time consuming to make! They ate this dog food both dry and wet and left no crumbs! On picky days, we added water to make the gravy and on others just fed it plain. Love that there’s a food that can be either and isn’t as smelly as the canned wet food.

Big hit

Upon first noticing the bag, Mooch began sniffing it and seemed eager to try the contents. He can be a bit of a picky eater from time to time, but he ate every morsel from his bowl.
