Exactly What I Didn't Know I Needed

I no longer inadvertently rest the bottle flat in the car having not tightened the lid properly, only to mop up all the water that spilled from it. Now I can stick it in one of my cupholders. If I get a silicone boot, they would be too snug in a backpack. Keeps drinks cold and works great. Of course, my son was called a VSCO girl at school. LOL

Glad I bought a boot for it as it makes it a little more tacky on your desk or table. The straw splashes a bit of water on you if you open it quickly; you have to blow into it before closing it or open it slowly to avoid that, just because pressure builds up in the straw.

Almost perfect
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great bottle, it fits almost everything I want from it, however it has one small issue that I believe is easily fixable. The flex straw cap only provides water when it is in the fully opened position, however there is nothing to keep it in the fully opened position. When I first drank from it, unused to it, the pressure from my own lips/mouth when I went to drink from it would shift the straw just slightly from the fully opened position, disconnecting the straw and losing suction/not being able to drink. I would suggest adding some form of locking mechanism similar to the small bump that helps lock it when fully closed, however for when the straw is fully open. Just that small locking mechanism would keep the straw open when you open it, rather than free swinging, and make the drinking position more robust to slight pressures that would break the straw connection.

Nice travel bottle

Disappointed. Straw/lid Defect??
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hydro Flask is usually a superior product. But this lid/straw is driving me nuts!! The straw part that folds out is very loose, and collapses at the slightest touch. In addition to being very loose, it does not align with the straw very well, so you end up sucking air with water. You have to push down or hold the folding straw mechanism in place to get good, sealed suction. I just want to open the straw, have it stay in place, and be able to . drink without sucking air. I would just purchase another folding straw lid, as I think it might just be a defect with this one; but this is the limited white/neon bottle. The whole point of choosing this one was the neon color. So replacing only the lid does not justify why I bought this particular one in the first place. Not what I expected from Hydro Flask.
