[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This ceiling fan is amazing. My brother said it was the easiest fan he ever put up. I love the ease of having a remote to adjust the fan and the lights. It's really great that the light can be adjusted from night to dim.

My husband installed it and said it was easy to install. There is no noise level when the fan is on and the air circulates well. The light bulbs are Edison style bulbs and are stylish! It is a very nice fan! Great choice!

I'd rather chains instead of remote. Room iscdimly lit. Maybe it's the weird bulbs.

I bought this fan in Q4 2023 and installed it in my master bedroom. It's beautiful, stately, and quiet, but I found that the lack of diffusers bothersome. Since I watch TV from my bed, the naked bulbs were always in my field of vision, leaving afterimages in my retinas, such that I worried about the long-term effects on my eyesight. I returned the fan and switched it out for a Highdale, which has three bulbs and a huge diffuser. Except for that one issue with the bulbs, I can recommend the Gatlinburg; it'd be fine in a Dining Room, Family Room, or similar, where the bulbs aren't constantly in your field of vision.

Excellent fan quality. The light kit was improperly wired and i was not able to properly mount it. The internal wires were too short which did not allow the modular plug to fit in the housing. I have 6 hunter fans in my home and thid was the first problem i have had

I haven't hung a fan for a while. Things have changed. No, you can not remove the stem to directly attach the canopy. The plastic canopy just clicks into place. Instead of wirenuts, there's a terminal strip. The black and red terminals do not have continuity to eachother. The blades must be installed with a particular side down. Unit comes with 4 l.e.d. bulbs which have a normal E26 base. I doubt the electronics would like a conventional bulb. Bulbs are Longstar 5A15DU4.5WMA. Fan is very quiet and moves air well. No balancing kit included, nor was one needed. Number one gripe is that no wall bracket was provided for the remote (Hunter 99795.)
