I really like how my hair doesn’t get tangled when using. I just wish there was stronger airflow.

This product should be recalled
In November I used the Helen of Troy Model HT1574 and had a bad incident with it. The end of the shaft MELTED and I had MELTED BRISTLES stuck in my hair. The attached photos show this. I lost a lot of hair, but can not take Helen of Troy to court because I did not go to urgent care or to hospital at time of incident. Had to send the brush to lab in Massachusetts where it was discovered that the "wrong plastic" was used for this product for use at high temp. This product should be recalled, but they won't do that because "this is the only incident they have had reported on the brush". Please do NOT use this brush on high speed.

Not worth it
Used this for the first time and within 5 minutes it stopped working and something on the inside was burning. Not impressed.

My favorite hair tool!
I love this styler! I really wanted a 1-25 inch diameter brush but since Hot Tools doesn’t make one in this particular model, I opted for the 1 inch diameter, as I am looking to add curls and volume to my thick and wavy hair. Best of all this doesn’t damage my hair because it’s plastic, not metal and it doesn’t get so hot that it burns my scalp either, even on the high setting. I did accidentally get my hair tangled into the brush the first time I used it, but it was because I tried to “grab” too large of a section of hair and it was rather easy to release with the curl release button and a bit of patience. Just remember to use on small sections of your hair and you will be love this tool!
