The fake wood plastic coating is peeling off. Half the plastic end caps won’t pop into place. There isn’t enough weight to the base for it to hold the coats without tipping or falling over.

This coat rack has alway been super wobbly. It's very cheaply made and not stable at all. The wood part is just a sticker that looks tacky in person. I definitely do not recommend this item at all.

We bought this coat rack in Dec and were amazed at how sturdy it was, but it slowly started tipping over time. And now that it's 6 months old, it's perpetually crooked and we have to hang our jackets up carefully to balance the overall weight. It can't be repaired either.

Easy to assemble and minimal style, but I thought it was wood by looking at the pictures. It’s a wood looking coating on top of metal which came in peeling. The tray’s finish too was peeling. Going to keep looking for something of higher quality.

If youre looking for a well built coat + hat rack that doesnt wobble or feel flimsy, get this one! The base is a weight, so I trust it'll stay. Everything about this is metal except the 'wood' wrap around the rods and their lil plastic ends. Easy and fast to build in 10 minutes or less. However the directions could use a little more something, as its all in two pictures on one page. What specifically is not super clear in the instructions, careful to make sure the rods' ROUNDED ENDS GO INWARD! Avoid my mistake of trying to put the rods in backward (round end out/sharp end in) because it peeled some of the 'wood' off. Just cosmetic damage, not structural, but small thing to be aware of in case.

First, the fake wood grain looks pretty fake up close but that's usually covered by coats. Mainly it's just not very stable. the weight at the base is only about 20lbs and doesn't sit very flat on my floor. After just a couple winter coats it gets VERY wobbly. Taking coats on and off is like Jenga. My kitten is able to knock it over nightly. It might be fine for a small purse or cardigan, definitely not any parkas tho.

I love this coat rack I just wish they had more poles to hang more stuff to. It was easy to assemble it took me 8 mins to put together by myself .

We rent and needed a coat rack because our main entrance doesn’t have a closet or anything we can hang coats on. This holds many coats and scarves and I use the dish for my keys. I love the wood and black tone. I will say you need to make sure the base is tightened as straight as possible with the black pole so that it doesn’t wobble.
