I ordered this because it was same size as an existing chrome shelf unit I have here, thinking it was the same strength to hold cans, jars and bottles I was surprised to see the thin wire gauge shelf construction and deflection when pressed on. This will have major shelf bowing if loaded with heavier items. Disappointed, will be returning.

Does not hold 200lbs. Unnecessarily difficult to put together. Plastic breaks. Can’t stress how much you should not buy this. Instead spend a little bit more for a better quality shelf.

Sturdiness is very suspect
They're nice looking. The claim each self will hold 200lbs is false, if I put 200 lb on these shelves it would collapse. I barely put 50 and I can see them bowing. Pretty disappointing honestly I can push on the shelf and see it start to bow. If I had not gotten such a good deal on these I would return them honestly. They are for my laundry room pantry area and I am not confident that they will hold what I wanted them for which is canned goods and things like that.
