[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited to try this umbrella base since we have 2 large patio umbrellas on our back deck and so far it has held up wonderfully. We used sand in the base and it was very simple to do. This has been thru a few bad storms so far and hasn't been damaged at all and has kept our umbrella in place. Very happy with this umbrella base!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When it comes to having an umbrella for your yard, you need a good stand to keep it upright and working. This stand is nicer than many of the metal options as you can fill your way, either water or sand, but you can also empty the base for easy storage in winter or for moving around with ease. The base is light when empty and just as heavy as the metal one when full. The plastic is heavy duty so you don't have to worry about hitting it or dropping something on it. The base worked well to keep my umbrella up without wobble.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I received my Home Zone Living 168lbs Offset Umbrella Base Stand, I put it right to use. I bought an offset umbrella a few months back and I didn’t realize that it didn’t come with a base. So I had to place 25lbs dumbbells on each leg of the umbrella stand to keep it from tipping over. The umbrella is gorgeous but the weights made it look ridiculous. So needless to say as soon as I got the base I removed the weights and replaced it with this beautiful stand. I filled each section with water and bam! All set and my patio furniture slides right over the base so you can’t even see it. Now my patio looks amazing thanks to my new stand!

I prefer sand and once I filled it with it it appeared very sturdy. It comes with the pole that you need to attach it to your umbrella and set up was VERY simple. It was a nice sleek look to it and will fit great on any patio or deck.

I used water rather than sand so that it was easy to empty and store for the winter. Even through stronger winds, the umbrella stayed upright.

It comes in four parts, each of which is heavy when filled, combined they are heavy enough to keep my 10' cantilever from tipping over even in a brisk breeze. Once this is in place, your umbrella is not going anywhere! I dread putting it away for the winter but will be so happy to see it again come spring!

This way, I can have shade when I want and remove when I don't want. Unfortunately, what I found with my giant umbrella, is with the extra weight, I needed to find an equally giant base to hold it! I found this Home Zone Living base and was excited to see that it holds more and is easily filled! Set up was a breeze, and I used water- which was the easiest solution, but sand is also an option. The look is standard and matches any possible decor, so this was also a huge plus! Do make sure that this base is exactly where you want it before filling, as it it super heavy and moving after filled would be insane! This base is durable, strong and solid- my umbrella is safe and I have no worries! I love that even with my kids messing with the umbrella, the base holds it and I can rest easy knowing everyone is safe. The base is also UV resistant and made in the USA- so I know this will last for years and is a great addition to any backyard or deck!

I would recommend filling it with sand if there is a chance it may freeze, untested but they plastic could crack due to expanding ice. Holds an umbrella and is under a table so we can't really see it.

My standard umbrella fit fine and the stand held up against some decent winds! It's unassuming and fits into outdoor decor well.

I like that this isnt a fixture ill have to move every time a hurricane , storm, or windy day comes along. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s so easy to assemble and fill. I love the fact that it's square shaped. It doesn’t take up as much room as circle bases. It fits in corners and tight spaces better. I have it nestled in between all my deck plants. I personally fill it with water. I just like the fact that when I want to move it around the deck or take it out on the patio during a bbq, I can just let the water out with the hidden drain. Then I can move it and fill it back up quickly with no problems. I have a 9ft umbrella. Using water has held up just fine on windy days. Even during heavy storms it hasn’t tipped or fallen over. Granted I always close the umbrella when it storms. Even so I do I think sand would be a better stabilizer if it’s in a permanent spot.

I have a separate grass area for my dogs and it never had any shade and this has provided the weight I needed to hold a large umbrella to create shade for them. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When this 5 piece umbrella stand isn't filled with water or sand, it's very lightweight and easy to move around. The bottom is made of of 4 quite large separate interlocking pieces that each can be filled with sand or water to weigh it down. The 5th piece is that small square on top that goes around the base of the umbrella pole. It is really, really big. I have no doubt in my mind that this will withstand my 10 foot patio umbrella from blowing over. It's been about 2 weeks and nothing has budged. It is very well made and is UV resistant so we are looking forward to years of umbrella shade to come in our hot Florida summers.

Having gone thru several umbrellas over the years I needed something durable that will not fall over. This base is honestly the best and so reliable. We had a pop up storm that was strong and I didn’t have time to take my umbrella out of the stand and lay it down like I normally do. When I got home the umbrella was still standing I couldn’t believe it! Great product easy to fill and very durable. Plus when winter arrives it comes apart easily for compact storage! This umbrella base will outlast me!
