An Absolute Must Read!
I cannot believe this was my first Twisted Sister’s read and now I’m mad it took me this long. From fated meetings to forced proximity, a powerful (yet refreshingly peaceful) FMC, and a dangerous man who, wait for it, YEARNS… This book had everything. I am going to need Lightwing in my hands immediately. No, I will not be waiting until June 2nd. My heart is fragile. Be serious. Ferris is an absolute force. Feisty, unshakeable, and armed with a backbone made of pure steel; this woman knows her worth. When she’s treated poorly, she doesn’t linger, she doesn’t beg, and she sure as hell doesn’t shrink herself. She leaves. The self-respect? The confidence? The feminine rage? I was pining after her like a lovesick puppy. Truly iconic behavior. Now let’s talk about Hendrix, a man I wanted to both kiss and punch in equal measure. Broody, dangerous, devastatingly delicious… and deeply frustrating. I loved him. I hated him. Sometimes within the same paragraph. His yearning was immaculate, even if his decision-making skills were questionable at best. Sir desperately needs to keep his grabby hands to himself, however, I will begrudgingly admit he knows how to wield his words (and tongue) like a weapon. All in all, this book emotionally grabbed me by the throat and refused to let go. I am obsessed. I am impatient. And I need book two right now.

Poor packaging
I am so sad! This is another series of books I’ve gotten from Target and your packaging is so bad! My dust jackets are damaged, and on my other series the pages were ripped from just being poorly packaged. The books are fantastic, but wanting to put them on my shelves when they’re damaged is frustrating 😭.

Poor packaging, damaged book.
This book came late, the box was beat up and wet, the book was water damaged with the spine broken. I got my refund but I’m disappointed that target has such poor packaging for books. There’s no reason they can’t wrap books in plastic with stronger boxes to provide adequate protection. Now they’re are out of stock, it can’t be replaced, and I’m onto finding an alternative gift for my sister. I will not be ordering books from target again.
