Himalayan Crystal Salt Lamp - 1 Lamp

I love this lamp! Its not that bright, but provides a soft glow. I was prepared from other reviews and placed a lid under because salt does fall off. I have a couple other salt lamps but this is my favorite! Am so glad I bought, and a great price too! Love Swansons

Loving my lamp, knowing it’s the real thing! I have it by my chair...leave it on 24/7...I haven’t gotten sick, here in my voluntary isolation for more than a month now. I love the glow at night....I sleep in total blackness, so I leave this on, in the living room by my chair....so, if I get up to check out a sound or the dog wants out...it’s very nice to see the warm glow.

I cannot speak for the overall effectiveness of a salt lamp, but I am very pleased with this one. I keep it going night and day. It serves as a perfect nightlight since I wake up several times during the night. I wish they were less expensive, but Swanson has the best price I have found.

We use Himalayan pink salt for all our culinary needs and bought our 1st Himalayan Crystal Salt Lamp many months ago on sale from a competitor. We liked it so much that we bought this one from Swanson more recently. Both were about the same size and cost and from the same manufacturer, but the competitor's has a nice wood base on it. Not sure why they are a bit different? Regardless, we are satisfied with this one too. Whether we can tell if negative ions are making the air cleaner just isn't measurable. I guess we trust that it is doing its job. We do really enjoy the soft glow and it even gives off a little warmth for cold winter hands. Sometimes I just cup my hands around it and breath in the vapors; which I can smell. The light bulb can be replaced with a smaller one, if it is too bright for your use. I appreciate the rocker on/off switch. Enjoy it as a mood light for its natural beauty. Any health benefits are a bonus.
