Book Synopsis
Ready or not, here comes a funny hide-and-seek game between toddlers and their loving mothers, who just need a moment to themselves.
Charming, funny, and incredibly relatable, Hide-and-Seek Mommy is a vibrant peekaboo board book with flaps, perfect for little seekers and fans of the Karen Katz lift-the-flap books.
Featuring different mommies looking to take a breather from their rambunctious little ones, lift the sturdy flaps to reveal where each mommy is hiding. In the final scene, all the mommies have gotten together, and guess who's hiding now?! Young readers will love spotting all the kids' funny hiding places.
A fun pick-me-up for loving but exhausted moms, Hide-and-Seek Mommy is a playful tribute to the daily dance of parenting. Whether for a baby shower, birthday, or Galentine's Day, this book makes a thoughtful and funny gift that celebrates the joy (and chaos) of motherhood with heart and humor.
Where is Eric's mommy? There she is! Under the table!
Where is Nora's mom? There she is! Behind the big chair!
Where is Edie's ma? There she is! In the cupboard!
Mommies love playing hide-and-seek . . . even though they're not very good at it!
With 14 flaps to lift, peer behind a coat or open the cupboard doors to show what Mommy is doing (like enjoying some coffee or getting in some yoga). But not to worry . . . kids love to play hide-and-seek, too! 1, 2, 3 . . . ready or not, here they come!
