Q: I just received my table today, so it is still in perfect condition. Do I need to seal it with something? There are many water sealants, oils, and urethanes, and I do not know which to buy. Do I need to do preventative maintenance, or only repair?

  • A: Our wood is pre-treated, but we do not seal our wood. We have not tested any of our wood with sealers, therefore there is nothing that we can recommend. If the wood is sealed, or there are any other modifications made to the item, it will void the warranty.

Q: Is this table designed so that folding wood chairs can be used with it to sit at and eat a meal? Not sure if height and leg opening dimensions allow a person in a chair to sit with their legs under tabletop to eat. Thank you!

One star for now

Rating subject to change: assembled table from shipping box - top of table was flat in box, so we removed all other parts, and started attaching legs and supports as directed. Once legs/supports were on, we turned it over, put on flat surface to level legs, and finished tightening. Took it out to patio to discover a crack on top of table. Shipping box was fine when we received table- there was no damage to box. I contacted customer service - 1st call resulted in being told vendor would send another top to us. Almost 2 weeks and nothing has arrived. 2nd call - I was asked to send pictures, which we did. We have not received any response to pictures or status yet.

I bought this table last year summer 2018. We covered it for winter to protect it from the elements. It did not help. The table looks horrible. The stain has worn off and the curved feet started breaking off. There is no real warranty so we can’t return it we are stuck sanding and repainting to make it look halfway decent!
