My toes still get a slight chill but they are not numb like they used to get. Only problem I have, is that I am a size 5 in women's shoes and these socks are a bit big on my feet. I have just purchased kids large socks, so maybe they will fit better. (Left foot is where sock should be when fitted properly. Still going to wear them though.)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have all 3 thicknesses of Heat Holders socks and they're great for different purposes. This is the "Lite", which is the medium-weight thickness. The Lites are great for wearing around the house! If you want to wear them outside, I recommend having boots that are a size (or at least a half-size) larger than what you'd wear with normal socks. I *can* cram my feet into my normal boots wearing these socks, but it's kind of pointless because wearing boots that are too tight with thick socks prevents you from trapping warm air (so you'll be cold!). Anyway, I bought a pair of Bogs boots in a size larger than my street size and those boots + these socks keep my feet very toasty! (The ultralite socks are much warmer than cotton but thin enough to wear with shoes in your normal size. The original heal holder socks are so thick that I'd have to order boots two sizes larger than normal to even get them on!)
