Rusted after a year
The item was cracked in the box. Because it is from a different manufacturer, they wanted me to return the damaged item… which weighs over 100 lbs and then purchase new. Ended up keeping and repairing the original since lifting the item and bringing it to the store to return was not going to happen. Had the item a year now and all of the metal is rusted. Not pleased for the price I payed.

Appears Built to Last
It is tricky to attach the wheels if you aren't comfortable maneuvering 80 lbs of concrete. However, once the wheels are attached, it's awesome. Securely holds our 10 ft umbrella. I'd put off investing in an umbrella stand because they're so expensive, but if you can swing it-- it is awesome to have. Plus, although it is more expensive than the water or sand ones, it seems much more likely to last for a long, long time. So hopefully it is a one and done purchase :)

Heavy, pretty nice stand
It's pretty nice & works well. The wheels are a little hard to roll on a deck but works with the handles. In the wind, the holder for the umbrella post & screw seem to loosen & need to be retightened. I would like the post holder to be a little stronger. It also makes the umbrella taller since the stand is about 6"high.

Not for a cantilever umbrella!
This item does not work well with a cantilever umbrella. The slight wind will bring it over. It works well with a standard umbrella in a modest breeze.
