Problem with finials

Overall rods were good. However, the instructions did not include information on how to add the finials to the end of the rods. They appear to screw in, but the rods have nothing to screw them into. My handyman managed to attach them, but one of them is rather loose so it may not stay attached. It appears that the finials were an afterthought to the product, without any thought given to how they were to be attached.
