A: Thanks for your great question. The main difference between the Original Handle (the charcoal Truman) and the Original Chrome Handle (the Winston) comes down to their materials and weight. Just to clear up any confusion—they both use the same blades and deliver the same great shave. The Truman is made from a zinc alloy and coated with a matte rubber grip for maximum control. The Winston has a metal core with strategically placed rubberized grips for extra control while you shave. Both razors are carefully designed to optimize performance and control based on its weight. For reference, the Truman weighs 1.35 ounces (without a cartridge), and the Winston 1.32 ounces.

A: Hey Quest, Blade cartridges, being comprised of multiple materials, are a bit trickier to recycle efficiently. We don't have a process for recycling them right now. But it's definitely a topic that's on our minds, and we welcome all suggestions.
