Comfortable
I have been buying Hanes Women's Boxer Brief Underwear for 14 year now. They are comfortable and do not strangle the upper thigh. I like the fit, I like the material, I like the washing ease, and I like the value for the cost.

Please, no butt seam
If having a seam on your butt that runs from the waistband vertically all the way to the crotch bothers you, avoid these. Hanes, why do you have to create women’s products inferior to Mens? Mens boxers do not have a seam on the butt. This is uncomfortable! Heck, I’ve never owned any pair of women’s underwear that had a seam square in the middle of the seat. The seam creates a ridge from the fabric being joined together that we then have to sit on! Please don’t try to fix something that isn’t broken. Won’t buy these or even wear the ones I have until you get rid of this ridiculous butt seam! I’ll stick with the Mens boxers.

Soft but uncomfortable in the legs
I was excited to buy these. When I put them on I was happy because they felt comfortable and soft. Then I sat down and the leg seams cut tightly into my thighs and then rolled up. These ended up being very uncomfortable and I will not wear them again.

They are stretchy and roomy. The colors are not the same as the picture but I like them better. The thing that makes them a 4 star is that the legs have a hem sewn around them that is restrictive of the thigh. It is not pleasant feeling the undies cutting into the leg. I broke the threads on the hem and loosened it up to an acceptable level. Lose the hem, Hanes and you'll have an awesome women's boxers going.

The description of the fabric composition is confusing. I thought I was buying 95% cotton. The colors are also different from the product photos. They’re comfy, but I really didn’t realize I was buying underwear with that much polyester in it.
