Buy the fleece version
My baby prefers the fleece one. And sleeps so much better. I didn’t realize it would offer less support than the fleece one. Don’t be cheap, buy the fleece halo.

The material makes it slip around so easily. I found my baby sleeping with the swaddle covering her mouth and part of her nose. You can’t get a good wrap with this Disney swaddle. Just pick a different material by Halo.

Definite no go!
This swaddle SUCKS! Will not keep my son’s arms down, the material gets all stretched out. As my son works his arms up and out the swaddle goes over his face! How terrifying.

Easy to use
Great swaddle, easy to use with directions inside swaddle and swaddle washes up well. I recommend when washing the swaddle attach the Velcro to the swaddle or it will attach to everything in the wash

Honest review
The new original material and look were great. The new one made out of a way thinner material is too stretchy when it comes to wrapping the baby. Where you would normally check for tightness (chest) will almost always be loose because of what it is made out of. HOWEVER if you do not check the tightness on the side of the arms, your baby will get their circulation cut off. The lining of the swaddle has no stretch. I never checked because I could tell the stomach and chest area were always loose but I tried sticking my finger between the arm/shoulder area and swaddle and could not even push through. I think this was a poor model choice plus the price doesn’t make sense. Paying the same price as the original one when the original is made out of a very thick soft material and this one is cheap.

Zipper Issues
The Halo Swaddle Sleepsacks are the best thing to happen to my newborn and I! This one was great until the zipper broke after a handful of uses. I had another one do the same so I washed it more intently. It didn’t help unfortunately! The Swaddle Sleepsacks with the two way zipper is the only ones that have not broken on us.

Every baby is different; some may like it others may not. My first baby loved this! Our newest, once he could fit in it, hated this and much preferred an arms up swaddle. Worth a try!

Just get the regular (non Disney, double zipper) one
Loved this at first, but I noticed that the fabric isn’t quite as stretchy as the double zipper ones. When wrapped with arm out, the wrap part digs into my little guy’s armpit. That part of the wrap has no give at all. Also, there is a hole forming in the top as well as the zipper is coming apart when zipped. We don’t have any of these complaints with our regular sleep sack swaddles from Halo. Such a bummer. I only bought the Disney style because it was the only one they had in the larger size in stock at our target at the time. I had wondered why it wasn’t astronomically marked up (for the same quality) being Disney and all, but now I see it is because it isn’t as nice a product so the price was the same as the better quality one. Bummer. In contact with Halo to see if they will send a replacement. He has only worn this for 3 months and has 3 other sleepsack swaddles he wears. Also, he even always wear a sleepsack swaddle to bed (depends on his mood) so truly, this shouldn’t have happened unless it was poor craftsmanship. Take it for what it’s worth. :)

Too Stretchy
We bought this as a cooler alternative to the fleece sack we were using. What I like about the fleece over is that the swaddle "wings" are not stretchy so they really hold baby's arms in place. This lighter cotton version is just too stretchy. Baby can still get his arms through and ends up scratching himself on the Velcro strips. I'm disappointed as I was really hoping it's found a way to keep him from startling himself awake while not overheating on these hot summer nights.
