Stopped cooling
Worked for two months last summer then stopped.. Fan works no cooling. Impossible to order a replacement capacitor. Part number doesn't seem to exist anywhere. I wasted 4 hours trying to trouble shoot and repair. Don't buy this product

Expensive garabage
Worked one summer. I used it for about 3 months and it worked as expected. Stored it in my dining room all winter. Following year I reinstalled it and it never cooled. The fan runs but no cooled air. Hefty price for 3 months of use. And now I'llhave to pay to dispose of it. I thought Haier was a quality name.

Bad Features
We paid for this thing and next thing you k ow keep it up and cleaning it up and using it at well it just went out and the light in the inside where the filter is keeps this green light showing blinking fast as it can and wouldn't even turn back on or work again for us this I would not ask anyone to buy because it's cheap and it's gonna stop working haven't had it 2 good years I shouldn't have given it 1 star really!!

Short lived for the price!
We bought 3 units. They worked great for 2 Summers then both went out and stopped working within a week from eachother. One of them was having a high pitch alarm beeping that would not stop. Even after resetting unplugging and replugging it just screamed the alarm! One is still working but I'm counting the days until it doesn't. Someone said these are only meant to work a couple of years the way they make them. The moisture sensor isn't made to last. Reading through the comments I see it's true! Only good for 2 Summers..I will not be rebuying these!!

Best air conditioner, Control off an app. Love it.
This is a very convenient a/c it works really great very cold and easy to use. I really like the WiFi feature were I can control it off of an app, makes it very easy to use and exciting. It also allows me to control it so I can save energy and maintain it. It allows you to see how much you’re using. All in all this is a very great air conditioner I highly recommend it.

Dont buy this brand
We bought 4 units at one time for the summer of 2023…we are down to 2 units that work now. We only use them 4 months of the year so they aren’t getting excessive wear either. We keep them clean…I mean we did spend over $1,000$ in one shot to get them. The large unit 10,000 btu started pouring water on the inside and damaged our laminate flooring before we realized. We checked all drains, looked up and down to figure it out. Nope, still leaked! The control panel now just blink on and turns off on that unit. The smaller 8000 btu, seemed to have a similar problem with the control panel and water accumulation. It’s absolutely shot and won’t even attempt to turn on. So, my recommendation….skip spending all that money and go as basic and least computer complicated as possible. I would NOT buy anything else that was a Haier brand! I stick with older name brands and as basic as possible if needed.

We appreciate you reaching out to us. If you have not already done so, disconnect power to the unit for 2-3 minutes to reset the electronics. Make sure the air filter is clean. Set the unit to High Cool and your desired temperature. Turn the ECO mode off and see if the cooling performance improves. If it doesn't, please call 1-866-907-1655 to discuss any options that may be available to you.

Worked beautifully then it just stopped, I read online that this particular ac keeps having this happen. Worse part is I orders 2 so I will probably be returning that one as well

Do not buy!
9 months old and does not work. It’s under warranty but good luck contacting anyone. The number goes to a voicemail! Target should not carry these products. It’s a bad look. I will not be buying anymore appliances from Target. The reviews for this item are mixed but I believe every word of the negative reviews.

Pick something else
This didn't even last a full two summers. I reached out to GE/Haier and since it's lapsed the 1 year waranty I was told to dipose of it. No refund or anything. Not at all worth the cost given it lasted 1.5 summers.

Nothing about the product description is accurate
Installing it is nowhere near as easy as the provided instructions or official video. You definitely need a second person. After lots of maneuvering and heavy lifting, it didn't even fit my 36 inch window despite what it says on the box and product description, The maximum width this will stretch to is 34 inches. I am now stuck in the middle of a heat wave without adequate air conditioning despite doing my due diligence to prepare ahead of time/ I am never buying from Haier again.

This unit should be able to fit a maximum opening of 36-5/8inches. We recommend making sure the weather seals are properly installed. Cools great, terrible with wifi
Bought this replace previous window unit that quit working. Wanted to upgrade to wi-fi to cool room/house down if heated up during day after I left and I didn’t turn on. Takes too long to connect (if it would at all) and now after the following first season it will no longer connect.

Try a different product
Bought it before summer of 2022. Used it at most 20 days (upstate NY). Stored it inside for the winter. Put it back up for this summer and it doesn’t cool (everything else functions). Went around in circles with GE customer service for 1.5 weeks. The 1 year warranty had expired (1 year on a seasonal product is quite a joke). Guess my expectation of working more than 20 days was too much. Buyer beware. I’ll likely never buy GE again.

Silent and Ice Cold
Nice and quiet, makes the room nice n cool. Only complaint is the tabs on the sides for the window shutter things make it hard to mount in a wall, but it's not specifically meant for in wall use anyways, so thats on me, not the product.
