Quality not as expexted
The head fell off only after a few days of playing. It appears it may have fallen off before and someone fixed it as the wooden dowel was broken and there was messy glue around it. Ended up returning as for $40 I expected the quality to be much better

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the original waddling duck pull toy by HABA to test for my honest review. This toy brings me back to my childhood. I loved pulling my duck around and watching it waddle. Now my grandkids are getting to enjoy the same fun. They love to pull their duck around the house. It is well made and can be easily cleaned and sanitized.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the cutest duck ever! Simple yet entertaining! It has a pull string for crawling babies up to older kids to play with by pulling it along. Let their imagination go wild! Oh, but it doesn't just pull.. it Wadles like an actual duck as it's being pulled! It is the cutest addition! It is made extremely well and sturdy. There is no doubt in my mind it could hold up well amongst a toddler throwing it around! Very good toy!

A Classic!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My youngest daughter is 17 mos. old and just really getting into her "toys". When we introduced the Original Waddling Duck pull toy to her, it was an absolute riot. She loved pulling it towards her but cried when it "followed" her as she walked the other direction. Seriously, this is a beautiful solid wooden toy that is made in Germany. The colored parts of "Woody" are made of non-toxic water based stain. The size is perfect for my toddler, almost 7" long and 6+ inches high. The only drawback I found was the pull cord got slippery at times making it difficult for her to pull during play time. My husband remedied that by adding a small pull ring, like for keys and tied the cord to it. This made is so much easier for her to play with. Great toy, she loves it!

When pulled by the cord, the duck moves like it's waddling. The duck is very cute and pulls easily enough for little kids. I was a little surprised at all of the German words on the packaging but it was well done! This toy seems pretty durable, too!
