Fresh, Clean Feel Thanks to the Bamboo Charcoal

The bamboo charcoal layer gives the mattress a clean, neutral scent not that chemical smell you get with most foam mattresses. It feels refreshing every night.

Terrible Chemical Odor That Does Not Go Away!

I bought 2 twin size mattresses for my kids' shared room. Even after airing out the mattresses for about 4 days, they still omit a strong chemical odor. I have to open their bedroom window during the day daily to let their room air out and by the middle of the night the odor is back. It is very frustrating as I intentionally bought this product because of it's seemingly "safe" certifications. I can't imagine a chemical odor is at all safe for children to be breathing in on a nightly basis. The company suggests letting the mattress "expand" for a period of time; I wonder if the manufacturer knows it's mattresses stink and try to dupe the customer into thinking the expansion is a way to also get rid of some of the smell.
