Dear Target. I am a frequent shopper, both in store and drive up. I am very frustrated with an event that is just happened. I purchased a large order for drive up including the oven up brand Parmesan cheese. When I arrived home, I noted that it had expired. I called your customer service number and asked for assistance. They said I had to return my product in order to get an exchange to which I said that’s unacceptable. Then, they changed their mind, and sent me a new product. When I received the new product, it too had expired. This is an extraordinary deficit of quality control. When I drive up two for a target pick up, I expect my items to be fresh. I am usually so supportive the whole Target process and I am really disappointed now.

Expired spoiled orange clumps
I received expired cheese from drive up. This is the second time I’ve experienced this with Target’s brand of parmesan. Both times the best by date was months earlier. This time it was best by November of last year & I bought it in mid January of this year. The previous time it was way older than that. The cheese is not pale yellow, it’s orange and clumped together. I now see from other reviews that numerous other customers have the same experience. Target is selling expired food. That’s why I no longer buy fresh produce from them because of how it’s consistently rotten. I understand they’re trying to maximize profit, but at the expense of their reputation?

This cheese is definitely a case of you get what you pay for. Do yourself favor and spend the extra money for Kraft. This is super clumpy, dry and dusty tasting, and severely lacking in flavor. Glad I sampled it before I ruined the recipe I was going to use it in!

recent problems
ive been buying this for years but recently have several complaints. 1. when did it get so expensive?? over $3 for a container that isn’t even FULL. 2. as i just said, the containers are only like 2/3 to 3/4 full with so much empty space at the top. shrinkflation fr 3. it tends to have a yellow tint and an odd taste recently. really disappointing. i shouldn’t have to pay extra for less product with a decrease in quality
