Q: Is this item good for a 1 year old?
A: No, it is for an older child, likely 4-5 at a minimum
submitted byLars1349 - 5 months agoA: Absolutely not. Follow the weight and height requirements for each car seat. Children should be in a rear facing car seat until 2-3, or until they max out the weight and height requirements for their seat. Forward facing until 40-60lbs, and not in a booster until they max out the weight and height requirements for their forward facing car seat. Generally 60lbs and not until at least 4, but later if you can.

Q: Is this booster seat FAA approved for airplan?
A: No. A booster seat cannot be used on an airplane.

Q: Does it contain flame retardants in this product
A: Thanks for your interest! Yes, the safety of our products and the consumers that use them is our greatest priority. As a juvenile products manufacturer we are subject to strict regulations including a requirement for car seats to meet the US mandatory federal flammability requirement for the interior of vehicles. We can confirm Baby Jogger car seat products do contain a flame retardant additive in order to meet this flammability requirement, and that any flame retardant additive utilized in our products meets or exceeds relevant regulatory standards. We can confirm our car seat products are free of various halogenated flame retardant compounds such as, PDBE’s, TCEP, TDCPP, TCPP, TBPP, TPP, TOCP, and TBBPA.
