Nice Crib
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was very simple to put it together, I did it by myself in under 20 minutes. I gave it a 4 and not a 5 because when I was putting it together I noticed a chip in the wood.

MISLEADING - DOES NOT CONVERT TO SAFE TODDLER BED
This product is NOT as advertised and very midleading. It is marketed as a 4-in-1 Convertibel Bed, however the bed does not transiton into a SAFE toddler bed since no guardrails are included. There are no conversion kits available for this model and no compatible replacement parts. So basically the bed is useless for my toddler. I have to buy a new toddler bed and maybe store these bulky pieces until it can be used a a full bed. SUCH A WASTE!

BEWARE: NO Toddler Safety Rail for THIS Model (?)
How can this company advertise that it converts to toddler bed, but is THE crib that does not accommodate a safety rail? Isn't Graco a company that make safe products for babies and toddlers? How irresponsible was the design for this! I would like Graco to explain in print why this model was intentionally designed for no safety rail.

Misleading Description
Like so many other reviews state, this bed is not a true conversion bed. I bought this in 2000 based on description that it could be converted into a toddler bed. No such conversion exists. Now that my child is ready for a toddler bed I'm forced to basically buy a new bed since the 'toddler bed' for this model is just taking the entire front railing off and leaving the metal frame completely exposed.

This crib says its 4-in-1 meaning in order to convert the crib to a toddler bed you have to take off the front panel. After I spoke with the manufacturing company they informed me that this crib isn't compatible with any rails. So your toddler can just roll right off the bed. That's the "conversion". Real safe. Never buying Graco or Storkcraft again!!

Don't buy for longterm use!
Bought this when my daughter was first born in hopes of using it throughout the years. The paint has chipped horribly &, now that she's older, I'm unable to find the toddler rail anywhere! Feels like a waste of money since I'm going to need to buy her a whole other bed...

Don’t buy if you tend to convert
I wish I had read the other reviews prior to purchasing, ready to convert to a toddler bed and now realizing that’s not possible, missing the pieces to do so, and can’t purchase them anywhere. Disappointed to say the least.

I purchased this for my daughter 2 years ago thinking that it would last her for a few years. unfortunately this does not include anything for the conversation to toddler bed. It is literally just a crib. Extremely disappointed.

To reiterate the other negative reviews: There is not a way to convert this crib to a toddler bed without buying a conversion kit that the manufacturer implied was unnecessary in the ads. I cannot find the kit in any event, and I’d need two. Moreover, the top rails shed paint when my twins were teething, which is unacceptable. What a disappointment from Graco.

Loved the crib...misleading description
This crib has worked great for our babies. The quality has held up well and construction and maintenance have been easy. Unfortunately they are at the point where they need a toddler bed and we are realizing we were mislead by the product description. We are unable to convert without purchasing additional products which we have been unable to find. It is disappointing to have invested in what we thought was a product from a reputable brand and now to have to invest again in order to have a safe sleeping space for our toddlers. Crib: 5 stars. Convertible aspect: 0 stars.

Same issue - not a true toddler bed
This crib has served us well and we haven’t had any issues until now. We’re on the cusp of the toddler bed transition so just like everyone else has said, it doesn’t truly convert to a toddler bed. Kinda defeats the point as this isn’t a true 4-in-1.

Good Crib Awful Toddler Bed
I wish I would have read the reviews about converting it to a Toddler Bed. I agree with everyone that commented, just awful, metal bar is exposed, and the sides are wobbly. I agree this is VERY Misleading when you read the description.

Issues with toddler bed conversion
My mother in law bought us this crib and as a crib it works great but now that I have tried converting it to a toddler bed I'm very disappointed. The whole front part comes off to make it a toddler bed ,but there is no support rail so now the metal base where the mattress goes is exposed and the sides of the crib feel very wobbly and flimsy. I'm very upset , it does not feel safe for my toddler and when I tried to find a toddler bed rail there is none that are compatible with the crib

Beautiful crib BUT dissapointing
The description is misleading. Like many other parents I too believed I would have received the whole conversion kit, I did not. And now it is impossible to find the matching toddler rail! It's a shame since graco has a great reputation but this is just disheartening.
