The fish inside is flakey and not overly fishy in taste. So far, I've prepared it for several people and no complaints. It is fine plain or served with tartar sauce, lemon, a side of rice or as a lunch sandwich. Very easy to prepare. I have an air fryer but I usually just toss these in the microwave or oven.
