Display mod has pluses but could be better
I purchased the Display Mod to use for Vlogging. The regular front facing display is rather small to see oneself and any subjects at normal distances. The Display Mod makes this view very easily seen from much larger distances. That is the good news. It also has a separate battery from the GoPro itself which means it does not overly drain the camera battery. It does not have a touch screen. In use the display mod can obscure the rear screen and therefore you cannot easily change camera settings. To use the display mod you use the mini-HDMI port which means it cannot be used for other purposes. You must also have the Media Mod to use the Display Mod.

Must Have For GoPro Content Creators
I loved the front facing preview screen on the GoPro 10, but having the larger Display Mod has helped me better frame my shots and helped me capture better content. I waited to upgrade to the mods, and I wish I would have gotten on board way sooner!

Works as Advertised
Screen works as advertised. Would be nice if it had the option to draw power from the camera, but it does what they say it should. Taking one star off because it does not work in Webcam (USB) mode. I understand that the GoPro is not primarily marketed as a webcam so it's not a huge deal, but having the on-unit preview would be very useful for me.

Broken on arrival
Unboxed & doesn't work. Watched youtube unboxing for instructions. Reviewer's unboxed new monitor didn't work just like je mine. Seriously?! Pitiful. Asked for a refund, they sent the packing slip, but lost in email somewhere.

I love the screen only problem is if you flip the cam you have to drop screen I wish both screens worked together. And it's also not a touch screen so you have to stop doing selfie mode and unplug the screen to use touch screen.

Was expecting more.
Really good to have but definitely can work without it and for that I have to say I am disappointed. This expensive device should at least have more to it. More functionality on the screen it self, maybe also try make it to rotate 360.
