About the Author
Deb Adamson (she/her) grew up exploring the Massachusetts shoreline and now lives along the Connecticut coastline. She writes books with heart, humor, and to encourage curiosity. She was a former broadcast news journalist, freelance essayist, and syndicated columnist for Gatehouse News Service. She was also a public relations director and spokesperson for a major US aquarium. She is currently a member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators.
Ma Pe (she/her) is an Italian cartoonist and illustrator who has been drawing since she was a child. She graduated with a focus in painting from the Academy of Fine Arts in Naples and continued her training at the Italian School of Comix with a focus in illustration. Ma Pe has been working in illustration and comics since 2016, in both editorial and advertising. She has collaborated with several publishers in Italy and abroad.
