It's a good medicine ball for training. It's good for use at home or to take it to a gym or even your backyard if you have one.

I saw on youtube a medicine ball workout and thought it looked fun and different. After looking at several medicine balls I decided on the go fit package with dvd because it seemed a reasonable price for what I was purchasing. I received the product within a couple days and was able to get right into the workout immediately. it is everything as described and I finding out I have more muscle fibers than originally realized.

The ball is a ball... easy to hold on to, throw and even bounce. Since it is 12lbs it makes a lot of noise when bounced. The disk that came with it wasn't worth watching if you do not have a partner to catch the ball or a brick/sturdy wall to throw against.

There are lots of medicine balls out there. This type can bounce without aid of a trampoline so you can throw against a wall without harming yourself or the ball. Other types either don't bounce or have breakable internal parts. Also, the nubby covering is easy to grip and is in my opinion nicer than the other bouncable versions.

The medicine ball is rugged, solid, and easy to grip even at the end of a workout when one is dripping sweat (I would have thought the opposite). The included DVD is quite helpful, though some of the exercises are not practical if you live in an apartment on the fifth floor... Altogether, though, I would recommend this to anyone who wants a change from the usual cardio work, or just a break from weightlifting.
