submitted byRabecca with an A - 10 days agoA: Hi, thank you for reaching out about GEMS Astronaut Galaxy Projector. Yes, the GEMS Astronaut Galaxy Projector displays exactly what your son wants: colorful, moving galaxy/nebula lights mixed with twinkling stars, creating a dreamy space atmosphere on ceilings and walls, with adjustable colors, brightness, and modes for a fun, imaginative experience. It's designed to look like an astronaut and offers different effects like nebulae, starry skies, and ocean waves, controlled by a remote. Q: Is there a way to keep the stars on?
A: Hi, thanks for reaching out about GEMS Astronaut Galaxy Projector Yes, you can keep the stars on without them fading in and out or turning off. Many similar projectors are often set to a "breathing" mode where the stars slowly dim and brighten. To stop the stars from "breathing" and keep them solid, you need to use the S- (Speed Minus) button on the remote: -Locate the Star Buttons: On the remote, look for the section dedicated to the "Star" or "Laser" settings. -Press S- Repeatedly: Every time you press S-, it slows down the "breathing" rate of the stars. -Find "Gear 0": Keep pressing S- until the stars stop fading entirely. At the lowest setting (often called Gear 0), the stars will stay on permanently at a steady brightness. This also does have a safety feature to turn off after some time so be sure to look at the back of the astronaut or the remote for a timer button. The blue light means it is set to turn off in 45 minutes, and red means it is set for 90 minutes. To keep it on longer, just long-press the timer button until the indicator light goes out. Note that many items like this have a hard-coded automatic shut-off after 4–6 hours to prevent the laser from overheating, which cannot be disabled.
